The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) was created to represent women in engineering but our members are not limited to only women and we represent more than just engineers.

We enjoy volunteering in our community and encouraging New Mexico students to be passionate about STEM. We also love to help our members expand their professional network and technical skills.

We send our members to two SWE conferences, the national SWE conference and a nearby local conference. Last year our national conference was in Anaheim and our local conference was in San Diego.

At conference and during events throughout the year, we develop technically as engineers and strengthen our SWE UNM community!
